Just logging on for a minute to gripe about the local Republican-majority council kicking out the long-time and experienced public library leader and covertly installing their own person who supports, er, banning books.
Plenty of people on an email list I'm on (about a completely unrelated topic!) are praising this move for "protecting children." Haven't these people seen "The Music Man"? Do they not get how they're being manipulated "for the children"?
