Reminder to always start from the bottom up when troubleshooting...
Keyboard was only sending A-Z keys, had to SSH in from my phone and swapped my display manager, window manager, and kernel
~40 minutes later, it was because I had bumped a toggle on the keyboard and put it into MacOS mode
